As children, we get so many messages about ourselves and our place in the world. Too often those messages are hurtful, oppressive and destructive. They limit us until we can let them go. This book is my story and my struggle to grow beyond all the harmful belief systems that were unloaded into my psyche at a young age.  Through this process I found liberation and joy.  It was no easy journey, but it was well worth it.  It is my hope, that as a result of reading my story, others will look at themselves and their own lives through a new lens.  It is my hope that they too, will find healing and ultimately, freedom.
