Description

Gene Masters is a retired consulting engineer living in East Tennessee with his wife, Ruth. He is the author of seven novels, Silent Warriors: Submarine Warfare in the Pacific, Operation Exodus, The Laconia Incident, The Wounds of Jonas Clark, and the Rich Vitelli Mystery series: The Dry Cleaner, True Believers, and Bobby Doyle is Missing.

After graduating from Notre Dame with a BSME, Masters received a commission in the U.S. Navy, and his first tour of duty was aboard a transport in the Western Pacific. His second tour was aboard a recommMore

After active duty, Masters earned an MBA from Columbia, and later pursued a career in engineering, serving in various companies until settling into a career as a consulting engineer. Along the way, he earned MS and PhD degrees in Engineering from the University of South Florida. He retired in 2009, and writes as a pastime, elated and surprised that some people find his books interesting and entertaining.
