Tim is the author of two thrillers, Raw Nerve and Delphian. He has written what he describes as two idiosyncratic novels, The Drama Merchant and A Seed Once Sown. 

Tim's latest work is an environmental SciFi series, titled Original Earth. The first three novels in the series will be published in November 2024, with book one being published on the 1st of November. 

Also this year, Tim will publish a love story titled The Falklands Engagement and then another thriller titled The Need To Know Principle. Both are completed. 

During six years service with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards Tim Rees saw active service in Northern IreMoreland and the Falklands War of 1982. During peacetime, his duties included battalion photographer. On leaving the army, he went to work for the BBC in Cardiff. Very shortly after joining he was asked to tell his story of the Falklands War and the BBC One Play for Today, Mimosa Boys, was the result. He also advised on six plays for BBC Belfast entitled Ties of Blood.
